Amy Pease is a Registered Nurse and Independent Healthcare Consultant from Cherry Creek, New York. She is the owner of AG Pease, RN Consulting PLLC, a certified women business enterprise in New York State. From early on in her life, she has been led by a passion for helping communities. Amy has spent the past 25 years of her life dedicated to the nursing field, constantly evolving to be the most helpful she can be in every position. Amy is goal-oriented, and currently setting out to visit all 63 of our National Parks, conquering her life-long goals is Amy’s specialty. Amy is a distance-runner, most notably, a 50-state half finisher, a feat not easily accomplished. One of her favorite quotes is “You always want to have a distance runner on your team because they don’t know how to give up!” This quote rings true in more parts of her life than just running marathons. Amy recognizes the Nursing Profession as her life’s marathon, and is running towards the goal of high-quality efficient healthcare regardless of economic status.

Amy earned her Associates Degree of Applied Science in Nursing from Jamestown Community College in 1998. After JCC, she furthered her medical studies at Empire State University where she earned her Bachelors of Professional Studies, Health/Health Care Administration/Management in 2004 and her Master of Social Policy, Healthcare Administration in 2008. Since 2012, Amy has been a Member of New York School-Based Health Alliance Board, holding various volunteer roles within the organization including Chair and Past-Chair. From 1998-2015, Amy spent 17 and half years working for The Resource Center where she was an RN, RN Program Manager, Business & Support Services Coordinator, and a Health Coach. After her time with The Resource Center, Amy spent 7 years as the Media Relations Director for Do Away with SMA, a charity dedicated to increasing the public’s awareness of Spinal Muscular Atrophy and raising funds for medical research and support for families affected by SMA. This kick-started her desire to take a stride towards helping the community in a new way.

In 2015, Amy started her own Healthcare Consulting Business that provides facilities the guidance that they need to provide patients with the highest quality of care. Amy provides a number of Clinical Consulting Services such as: practice efficiencies/analysis, New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and Health Resource Service Administration (HRSA) Operational Site Visit survey readiness, quality assurance and improvement, insurance incentive management, business analysis, needs assessments, start-up assistance, policy and procedures, and staff training. She also assists with preparation and submission of various applications such as New York State Article 28 Certificate of Need applications. Amy reviews and creates clinical and administrative workflows that are tailored to an organization’s needs. Her ability to multi-task allows her to manage multiple priorities at once. By becoming a Healthcare Consultant, Amy gets to devote her time to helping those who help others, bringing meaningful and impactful changes to the Nursing Field in her own community and the community of others.
